Tax Return

Now that we will be receiving our tax refund fairly soon, we are thinking of buying some electronics that we have been looking at. We really need a nice photo/fax/scanner printer for our imac. We haven't had a printer in years and it's one of those things where even if you are not constantly using it, things DO arise where you need to print out a document or a school project. It would be nice to be able to do it at home rather than save a file on disk and try and get a computer and printer at the library when they are always being used. My husband wants another tv, but I think that a printer is probably more important. With tax refunds coming out i'm sure there are many discounts and sales happening at the moment.

Towing Cars

You know, when I lived in my old apartment, if we parked on main street (we had no parking spots assigned to us so it was us parking wherever we could find a spot, basicly.) we would wake up to find that our car had been towed literally a few feet to the nearest gas station. We'd have to pay $40 just to get it back. These days i'm always cautious about where I park. I'm always afraid we won't run into one of those 24 hour towing companys and we'll get one that closes early and be in big trouble. I'm a pretty paranoid parker these days because we just don't have tons of bucks lying around to pay for something like that. I bet it's great for businesses when someone is blocking an area that needs to be used and it's late at night. They can call and have the car towed no matter what time.
