So so far I am really into her book. I got some neat recipe ideas and I am going to try her circuit training workout. I like the sound of it because it doesn't require anything but small dumbells, which I have. For the cardio three days a week I can do whatever I want so that would be a perfect time to toss in some Taebo again.
It's kind of funny, one of her clients in her book had had a hardtime on WeightWatcher's and gave it up because she had become TO obsessed with food and counting points and would give up and binge. Not to mention the sole focus was the number on the scale and that can be discouraging. GOSH that sounds familiar. I am continuing with WeightWatcher's right now as it helps me get my portion control in check but I am also one of those people that gets uber obsessed. Probably because I have a food addiction and all I think about is what I can and can't eat and when I can and can't eat it LOL. Anyway, she had finally just started eyeballing her portion sizes, eating healthier(balanced meals of protein, veggies and wholegrains, fruits, low-fat dairy, etc)and working out and found a life-style she could live with doing that. Eventually I hope to get there myself someday, to the point where all I have to do is eyeball something and know it's the right portion. I'm not there yet though so i'm still going to use WW to learn with. Since I do it at home, on my own, I could choose to only weigh myself every other week if I wanted to. I may try that as I hate relying so heavily on that scale number as well when it is really body fat and inches that count.

That scale is a beast isn't it? I have a scale that measures body fat too so that has sometimes given me positive feedback when the number didn't. I think it's great that you are thinking of the future like you are. It's all about maintenance really. If we don't figure it out we'll just gain the weight back. Great job this week!
