Car Insurance

You have to hand it to the car insurance companies. They sure do know how to make some memorable commercials. Whether you love them and think they are funny, or hate them and think they are horribly annoying, they do what they want to do. Catch your attention and make you remember. It's important to shop around when it comes to car insurance. As is pointed out in most of these commercials, sometimes the ones that claim to be the cheapest are not really the cheapest. You should do some shopping around online. It's fast and convenient and most places have their own website that you can view and email any questions you may have.

Ramona and Beezus

This is pretty exciting. They have made a Ramona and Beezus movie! I remember reading all the Ramona books back in third grade. My teacher had a Ramona doll. One of my favorites was Ramona age 8. Here is the trailer for the movie. It looks wicked cute!

Decorating

If there is one thing my mom can't seem to get enough of in her house, it's candles. She always has a ton that she is either burning or just using for decorations. It worries me sometimes, all those candles going at once. Once I got her a wall sconce that held a candle and she placed it on her wall and loved it. She purchases several more and tends to use those a bit more often than just lighting a ton of candles. They are really nice decorative pieces.

Loose Diamonds

I'm not much of a jewelry person. I've always wanted to be, but the truth is that I in all honesty dress a bit frumpy and I never feel like any jewelry goes with my clothes I always feel like i'm under dressed. However, I think it would be really neat to make a business out of making and selling jewelry. I bet there is a lot a person could do with loose diamonds and other jewels as well as beads. A friend of mine makes charms out of glass that she has fused. It's a neat process.

Diet Pills

Diet pills are a very controversial subject. Some believe that certain pills and supplements work well at burning fat and are perfectly safe as long as you take them according to the directions and also watch your calorie in take. However one could argue that if you watched your calorie in take you would lose weight despite the pill. Many people will argue that the side effects of diet pills are dangerous and are not worth the risk in taking them. Some people say that while certain side effects may not be dangerous, they are not exactly flattering either, such as lose stools.

Eye Bags

it's funny, with the recent death of Corey Haim, who I adored during my childhood, it's really made me think of how life is really short. True, he died way, way before his time, but it makes you stop and think about how long ago the 80s really were at this point. I'm going to turn 30 in Sept and I already have gray hair and bags under my eyes from lack of sleep and perhaps not drinking enough water. I am currently checking outeye cream reviews to see if I can find something that will assist me with correcting the problem. I'm also working on getting more sleep and drinking a ton more water than I already drink.

Acne

When it comes acne medications, you really have to do a little research. Since everyone's skin type is so different, not every medication is going to work for everyone. Then your bombarded with commercials stating that this product is better than that one and so on and so forth. The best thing to do is to read consumer reviews and find out exactly how severe your acne is before you purchase anything. Some people with acne have sensitive skin and using products that dry out their skin is not going to help them.

Skin Care

Having lived out here in Guam for the last three years now, the exposure to the sun and the heat has for sure changed up my skin. I could use some natural skin care products or some sun screen that improves the smoothness of your skin. I'm doing some research on these and the best acne treatments on the web. I need to take better care of my skin or it's going to come back to haunt me in ten years.

Jobs

Though it can be a big pain in the butt when it comes to missing family, my husband and not being able to do many things that civilian families get to do, having my husband in the Navy at least means job security for the most part. It's hard to find a job in this economy, but it can be done. One of the best ways to start in this decade is looking online. Many websites such as beyond.com offer services such as posting your resume and browsing job openings by location and industry. It sure beats going door to door and crossing out options in the news paper. A true sign that the times have changed.

Working out

I have to say that when it comes to working out, you really have to just DO it at some point and stop buying gadgets that you think will motivate you by having them in your living room, in front of your tv. For example, I love elliptical machines at the gym. Those are the machines I go for. Instead of waiting until I could afford a really, really nice elliptical that would allow you to do different levels of resistance and different programs, I suffered from that impatient, gotta have it this second attitude and wasted money on a cheaply made one where the resistance is done by a knob and there are no different levels. Let me tell you I used it about six times and could not get it to stop squeeking, no matter what I did. I also couldn't figure out the resistance. It's now collecting dust amongst my other "This is THE time I get in shape" purchases like my beachbody workout collection, my pilates dvds, my Biggest Loser workout dvds, my weighed jump rope, etc. They are all great tools but unless you make yourself use them until they become habit, they are not going to help you,

Online Degree

It's something that many people toy with. Going back to school. However, in these busy times many people do not want to spend even more time away from home when they are already working and carting the kids around from practice to other after school activitys. That is why earning an online degree has become so conveniant. However, you must make sure you make the right choice. You want to make sure that it's an accredited university.

Let's say for example you want to earn an online business degree. You want to make sure that the university itself is acredited otherwise when you go looking for a job, they make scoff at your online degree and tell you it's worthless. A great school to look into as far as earning an online degree, would be The Western Govenors University. They are uniquely afforadable (other online colleges can be quite pricey) and they focus on how well you learn and what you know over how much time you have put in at the computer.
