Med Carts
Ever wonder where hospitals get their supplies? There are actual stores (even online) that sell items that every hospital/clinic needs, such as a med cart or cabinets and accessories. It's not something you often think about, but obviously the hospitals need items such as cabinets, med carts, charts, sani-wipe holders, mini trash cans, etc to keep everything running smoothly. It isn't until you run out of an item or an item is broken that you really realize how important that item is.

It's so funny you mention this. I am a nurse and I remember the first time i needed a suction tube and couldn't find one in the stock room and i thought to my self, "This patient is going to die unless i find it!!" I started freaking out in my mind and then realized...there must be more somewhere. From then on i have put a lot of thought into where i get the stuff that goes on those med carts. LOve the post!
